FLOWER FRIDAY AND SEEING BEAUTIFUL

Howdy, pups and kitties.... been a while since I gots to bark... wuzn't dat Rodeo yesterday sumthin' pawtastic??? A big round of thank-yous to all whose hard work made is a boomin' success!!

To start wiff, here are a few photos of yers truly and my goofy brofur, Crockett...

Here I is, modelin' my patreeotical dress...

And here is Crockett, well.... bein' Crockett... nappin' in da beach towels in da sunroom and doin' whut he duz best, blowin' a razzberry....

Well, da lastest time I wrote I said I would show ya whut has been keepin' my Momma so durn bizee-- and it just so happens dat it ties into today's post of Flower Friday and Seein' Beautiful.... cuz Momma has been bizee diggin' and plantin' new flower beds and changin' up some she already had... so our garden is da focus of our Flower Friday post...

Momma put a new flowerbed in front of our oak tree out front... and planted 3 azaleas, moved the liriope out to the edge of the bed as a border, added some ferns and hostas and coleus and tons of caladiums bulbs... dis is whut it looked like a month ago and whut it looks like now...

More caladiums near da front door....

Some hardy hibiscus...

Tropical hibiscus.....

Coneflowers (Echinacea)

Altheas....

Daylilies...

Front yard...

Back yard...

Back yard flowers....

Well, hope y'all enjoyed our flowers on Flower Friday.... and that you, like us, spend some of each day seein' da beeyoutifull all 'round us....

Bark ya later, gators...

    1. Thanks!! Before she put the bed there, it was just mud from all the rains... so she did it partly to stop the soil erosion.. not it's one of her favorite parts of the front yard...

  15. WOW oh WOW the caladiums look so pretty. Our climate here is not conducive to them being in anything other than planters. Everything looks manicured so perfectly. We were looking pretty till the storm a week ago, now it is just cleaning up and the flowers all got beaten by the hail so badly. All my sunflowers are gone.

    2. Not tuff enough for the hail. We miss all the yellow wild canaries that normally feed on the seeds every year.

    1. Caladiums are perfect fur da shade!! Hostas are good, too, and ferns... but caladiums really are great fur da shade-- they should do just fine in California, they do good in Florida.

  20. Finley I think besides having two pink bicycles your Mommy should get two pink Segways an put fancy baskets on them so when they are tired of pedaling Y'all can ride around the hood that way. You like my Texas Y'all?
